How to rebook my flight in Lufthansa?

1. Visit the official web portal of Lufthansa airlines
2. On the main web page click on the “My booking” icon and you will be redirected to a new webpage.
3. Enter the required details like Name and Booking Number which is communicated to earlier at the time of booking.
4. Check the eligibility for rescheduling and select flight and the date you want to travel.

To rebook your flight on the phone

You can also rebook the flight by getting in touch with a Lufthansa Airlines Reservations on phone. You can directly speak to them by dialing their customer care number which is also given on their website. You can also use the number for any further assistance and queries.

When the flights are cancelled?

If the flights are cancelled, you can rebook your flight once for free, but your destination and travel class should be the same.in this case, rebooking can be done within the period of ticket validity, which is one year in most cases. For rebooking, you can contact Lufthansa customer service.

If your tickets are booked before or on 31St July 2021, having a travel date between 1st Feb 2020 and 31St Aug 2021, you can exchange it once for a new travel in addition. It includes changes to your departure, destination airport and travel class. New travel should be started dates by 31st July 2022. In this case, the ticket will be rechecked and if the new fare is higher, an additional charge will be applicable. To do it, you can contact customer service and a travel agent.

When Travel Change is From Your Side?

As per the new policy, you can rebook your ticket as many times as you want without paying any change fee. Additional charges will be applicable only when the new fare will be higher. But yes, you will have to change it before the originally scheduled date. Rebooking can be done either online by visiting "my booking" or by your travel agent.

Please also note that if you have a domestic ticket, it cannot be changed to an international route and if you have an international ticket, it cannot be changed with the domestic route.
